Shakes hands with government after landing in Los Angeles

Donald Trump and Gavin Newsome A trip or a couple of beers together won't be happening anytime soon… but the two men are still keeping things warm while the president is in Los Angeles — at least for now.
The 47th president of the United States arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday afternoon to assess the damage caused by devastating wildfires in the area… and he was also met at the airport by the governor of California.
Give this video a try… Two fierce rivals shake hands and appear to separate their opinions, having a pleasant conversation on the tarmac. The two politicians exchanged a few seemingly affable and warm words before and after shaking hands.
Newsom also took a moment to greet “First Girl” Melania Trumphe went to California with DT…and shook her hand.

Trump and Newsom continued to thank each other as they spoke to the media … and the two exchanged extra handshakes in front of the cameras. Trump even pledged federal aid to California, prompting Newsom to express his gratitude again — saying he remembered how Trump had helped the Golden State during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because, Trump and Newsom have never seen eye to eye… and the recent Southern California wildfires have only heightened tensions between them.
President Trump has floated the concept of withholding federal funds for disaster aid amid major changes to California’s water insurance policies and forest management.
Earlier this week, it was unclear whether the two would even meet… Trump said he had not thought about interacting with California's top lawmaker.

Newsom has repeatedly called the president a threat to democracy, while President Trump has been seen calling the governor a “Newscum” — not exactly the bipartisanship many in California support.
