Michael Mann officially completed the script for Warm 2, a long-awaited sequel starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in 1995.
In response to inquiries about the corporate status of the Vulture interview, the legendary director mentioned that he “just completed the script and handed it in the first draft.” When asked to hand it over to whom, Mann mentioned Warner Bros. who made the main movie. He added: “I can't talk about anything bigger than that. But it's certainly an exciting cause.”
The entire masterclass mentioned in the Crimson Sea movie competition beforehand mentioned that the script “to be done quickly” and that he could “fly experience Los Angeles on the plane again.”
Elsewhere in Q&A, Mann also talks about the long legacy of some of his old films and their connection to his filmmaking fashion. “I'm not a tourer; since I really like taking pictures. But I want to be a movie, I generally feel like they have a layer of relationship.”
“They aren't easy. They may be totally accessible – not all of my movies, but some of them can also be accessed simply, and it's a thing to move on, just taking you 2 hours, or 45 minutes in the case of “warm” and “Insider”, but, since my ambitions will join in, my ambitions will join in.
