Jason Derulo Optimistic about TikTok's fate…despite countdown to banning the social media app in the US.
The singer shares his solution to the looming ban Guanyin “OK”During his “Open Family Occasion” radio show, he defended TikTok, saying it was “too helpful” to simply go dark.

Jason, who has 66 million followers on the app, said he would love to acquire TikTok… as long as the company can rely on his followers to gain influence.
The fact that JD.com is one of the many billionaires who have expressed curiosity about rescuing TikTok, and that he is satisfied with it, will undoubtedly be an important part of the platform's rescue in the United States.
Still, Jason may also be feeling a little extra nervous now, given that the Supreme Court upheld the TikTok ban on Friday, setting the stage for a possible ban on U.S. app stores starting Sunday.
So it’s a good thing that Jason has a contingency plan in place in case a shutdown occurs.

As he told Kannon… he's willing to use other social media alternatives, including TikTok competitor RedNote. Nonetheless, he believes whoever does the best live broadcast will ultimately stand out.
